Are you a woman?
Are you a Chai-vanist?
Want someone to make a cuppa for you?
If you nodded to those, this is for you.
And if you’re a man who supports the women in your life,
this is for you too.
It is an age long thought in the subcontinental culture that
the women in the house are entitled to handle the domestic chores along with
serving their husbands.
The new campaign by Tapal Danedar is aimed at reversing
these gender roles for the very first time and ending this monotony. The TVC
features a husband and wife relationship in which the husband takes the responsibility
of making a cup of tea for his wife, to acknowledge her efforts and comfort her
after a busy day.
Any relationship survives only when there is a balance,
similarly, Tapal highlights that a husband also plays a significant part in stabilizing
a marriage. It’s the beginning of a new era where men are showcased
understanding their wives and valuing them.
Keeping in mind this concept Tapal is launching another sub
campaign in which they are asking the wives to tag their husbands if they want
them to make a cup of tea for them and win prizes. The campaign is running on
Facebook and a video a video is posted in which Tapal is asking husbands when
was the last time they made tea for their wives?
The number of people who admit to not have made any for their wives is
amusing.
So, what do you think about Tapal's #TumMeinAurAikCupChai?
